Submarines are a type of watercraft whose function is primarily stealth and being able to submerge itself underwater. It has traditionally been used for combat as well as surveillance roles, as the combat capabilities of earlier model submarines were limited. Albeit this earlier deficiency in weaponry, modern submarines tend to have a vast array of combat capabilities such as anti aircraft(airplanes as well as helicopters), anti ship, anti submarine, anti ground and even nuclear capabilities.
As the bunker and tank are becoming obsolete, submarine warfare is still in it’s early stages of development as not many countries possess advanced submarine technology.
