Over exerting yourself is futile to begin with, but there are routines out there geared towards competing and not getting enough energy, protein, vitamins and everything else will just hold you back unnecessarily – one thing compliments another, vitamins help with metabolizing fats, carbs and protein, protein helps build muscle, fat cells are used for energy, fiber is used for digestion and so fourth.
