According to Clausewitz, the mathematical equation to winning a war is Resistance = Means x Will. Your level of resistance to the enemy is essentially measured by the means available at your disposal, multiplied by the amount of will your population has to carry out this resistance using these means. Without will, your means will sit unused. Without means, your will is only ether. If resistance is the act of driving, means is the vehicle and will is the fuel.
