Arabs number over 550 million people in 2019, and inhabit dozens of countries from West Africa to the Middle East. Most of the terrain they inhabit is desert, and while Arab countries have a long history of conflict, they also have a track record in recent decades of losing wars, even against smaller nations such as Israel. In essence, their strength lies in being the phantom of the desert, eternally living and moving from country to country.
