The Indian military has not seem much combat in varying environments other than with the similar Pakistani military, in counter-terrorism operations domestically, or during peacekeeping operations against the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka. Yet it possesses an enormous army that has the capability to devour most modern European states in a matter of months.
