Agricultural Implications & Food Rations

Reading Time: < 1 minute

One of the most important aspects of a country’s ability to wage war is the ability to feed it’s armies. Many countries have tried to remedy their limited agricultural capabilities by designing compact and long lasting food rations that would cost little resources, yet be very filling and can be mass produced in large numbers and easily distributed to it’s armed forces both domestically and internationally during conflict.

The Germans at the end of World War 2 had a scorched earth strategy, which left all arable land, buildings, livestock, bridges and infrastructure and anything that can be used by the enemy to establish a base and use to fuel it’s armies, into ruins, denying them access to strategic locations and resources. There needs to be a modern, efficient, mobile solution to the problem of traditional farming and agriculture, and how it can be exploited by enemy forces to prevent advancing armies from using it to feed it’s armies.
